NESA to announce 2025/2026 PLE and O-Level Examination Results on August 20

Rwanda’s National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA) has announced that the results of the 2025/2026 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) and Ordinary Level (O-Level) examinations will be officially released on August 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

The announcement was made in a notice issued on August 15, 2026, informing students, parents, teachers, school leaders, examination invigilators, candidates and other stakeholders about the upcoming release of the national examination results.

According to NESA, the release of the results will mark the conclusion of the examination process for the 2025/2026 academic year and provide candidates with an opportunity to access their performance in the national examinations.

The announcement is expected to attract significant attention from students and their families, particularly those who sat for the Primary Leaving Examination and Ordinary Level examinations as they await their academic results and prepare for the next stage of their education.

NESA said the official announcement will be available through the YouTube channels of the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC) and NESA, allowing students, parents and the wider public to follow the event remotely.

The release of the results comes at an important time for candidates transitioning to the next level of education. The PLE results will help determine the progression of primary school graduates into secondary education, while O-Level results will be important for students moving into advanced secondary education and other post-lower-secondary pathways.

Students and other stakeholders have therefore been urged to follow the official communication channels of MINEDUC and NESA for accurate and timely information regarding the results.
